St. Louis starting pitcher Aaron Nola tossed 7.1 scoreless innings and the River Walkers posted their second consecutive shutout with a 1-0 win over the Fort Worth Traders in Fort Worth, Ind.
Nola scattered seven hits while working into the eighth inning. He struck out seven and walked one.
The Walkers got the game's only run in the top of the sixth when Andrew Benintendi singled with two outs off Traders starter Carlos Martinez.
Benintendi scored when Rhys Hoskins followed with a double.
Jake Diekman completed the eighth inning for St. Louis. Keone Kela tossed a spotless ninth for his eighth save.
