Walkers news: May 4 -- St. Louis 2, Fort Worth 0

St. Louis managed just one hits, but still managed to squeak out a 2-0 win over the Fort Worth Traders in Fort Worth.
The River Walkers only hit, a lead-off double from J.D. Davis in the fifth inning off Traders starting pitcher Juan Hillman, didn't even play into the scoring as St. Louis got both of its runs in the eighth inning without the benefit of a hit.
Reliever Edubray Ramos retired the first two batters before issuing a pair of walks.

He was relieved by Jake Brentz, who issued a walk to Michael Conforto to load the bases. Another walk, to J.D. Davis, scored the game's first un.
Brentz then hit Brock Holt with a pitch to make it 2-0.
St. Louis starting pitcher Jacob deGrom was dominant with seven scoreless innings, during which he allowed four hits. He struck out six and walked one.
Brad Boxberger tossed a scoreless eighth inning and Andrew Miller did the same in the ninth for his first save.
