Hill was acquired in a trade with Salt Lake City on June 14. He is 0-3 in 4 starts since joining the Solons. He pitched well enough to win last time out, though, with 2 runs allowed in 8 IP, but had a no decision. We faced him in Salt Lake City and beat him, scoring 5 runs in 5.1 IP.
Flores is making his 3rd try to become the first 13 game winner in the Majors. No one else has 12 yet. He gave up 5 runs in 3.2 IP last time out and lost. He is now 4th in the PCL in ERA.

A.J. Lee flies out to center. Jayson Pemberton strikes out... Only his second strikeout in 31 AB. Tim Higbee swings at a 3-2 pitch and misses....
Top of the Second:
Paul Moreland and John Trent lead off with back to back hits and the Solons have runners at the corners with no outs... Trent takes off for 2nd and we have a pitchout on, but he is safe anyway... With 1 out, Ray Knowles doubles to left center. Alexis Quiroga grounds a hit to right and Knowles beats the throw to the plate... 3 to 1, Solons. Back to back crap games from P Frank Flores.... Larry Pierce grounds a hit to right. The Bullpen is up. Paul Moreland grounds a hit to left and the bases are loaded with 1 out. John Trent lines one to left and Jack Hinckley makes a diving catch and then doubles Quiroga off at 2nd!!
Bottom of the third:
