I would say the chances of there being at least one new league being created after this season are about 50-50 at this point. I am considering the idea of limiting the size of reserve rosters in the SBC and/or instituting a foreigners limit on the appropriate teams. There may not be a foreigners limit, at least as of yet. But I am more likely to limit the reserve roster sizes for at least the SBC, if not other leagues as well, in the very near future for this game world.
I am not sure yet what will be the next league or leagues to be created, but I still plan to expand the scope of the game world by no later than the 1885 or 1886 season, at least once. Possibly at least twice by 1891 or 1901.
The Slaabovian Baseball Confederation will become the Slaabovian Republic League for the 1901 season. The North American Baseball Association will gain the Victory League as its second subleague in 1901, and then it will have playoffs from that time on.
As for the planned promotion-relegation ladder involving the Supreme Columbian League, I will likely add new rungs to it until I have at least five to seven rungs with an average interval between their introductions of somewhere between five and ten or fifteen years, more or less, of seasonal play. I expect the rung immediately below the SCL will be created no later than the start of 1886. Level three will likely be created circa 1896, give or take a few years or so either way, but no later than for the 1901 season. Level four and other levels will be created later as the need or desire arises, when and where possible and appropriate.
That is probably enough to talk about here for this post, at least. CD out.
