Flores Hurls Complete Game at PETCO Park
The Phoenix Suns picked up a win at PETCO Park, knocking off the San Diego Chargers, 11-2. Starting pitcher Oswaldo Flores was an essential part of his team's success. The Suns, now 11-6, have been playing some good baseball. Jeter Bros smashed, Milbrandt with another stellar effort, and our boy Pepper didn’t strikeout.

Chargers Topple Suns with Late Rally
Phoenix first baseman Derek Jeter was sensational. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. San Diego beat the Suns, 8-7. Jeter was named the player of the game despite the loss. The win brings the Chargers to 10-8, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs. Donny sat (again) and Pepper had a good day in the box despite striking out twice. Cornejo got smashed.

Ryan Burg was superb against Phoenix. The right-hander, who is tied for 6th in the NL in strikeouts with 33, had a changeup that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a 3-2 Chargers victory. The win gives San Diego a record of 11-8. We had 3 hits and 11 strikeouts, but Pepper only contributes one of them. Ash pitched well. We let him down.
