What is UMEBA?
The Unified Middle East Baseball Association is a fictional independent international league within the Brewster Baseball Association (BBA) universe.

How is UMEBA Associated with the BBA?
The league is independent, with their own amateur draft, but free agents are free to flow between leagues. UMEBA is set at a lower level, with smaller budgets, so while it does not attract top free agents, it is a place for many older or fringy BBA players to land. After the inagural season, a draft will be implemented wherein players from UMEBA (after meeting service time requirements) may be selected to become unrestricted free agents and potentially join a BBA team.

Is UMEBA a feeder league for the BBA?
For players, no, outside of the annual draft discussed above.

For GMs, kind of! It's a place to get to know the BBA, and earn participation points without any of the requirements of the BBA. When a spot opens up in the BBA, the UMEBA GM list will be the first place we look for a replacement.

Can I join?
Yes! Click the link to apply above. We have 6 UMEBA teams open right now.
