2023 Update: 2 Drafts 1 Rivalry

Washington Capitals GM Brian Maclellan walks up to the podium and says " With the 2nd pick in the 2023 NHL Draft, the Washington Capitals are proud to select, centre from Clarkson University, Vincent Wagner." Just like that Vince's childhood dream came true because of a great season putting up 47pts in his freshman campaign and was also the highest draft pick out of Clarkson since Craig Conroy. He decided to stay at Clarkson for the time being having made some great friendships and wanting to receive a education before pursing a career in hockey. He was able to share a great moment with his mother and father but both brothers did not make the draft or even congratulate him.

Travis was also picked 2nd overall but in the OHL Entry Draft but by the Mississauga Steelheads. This come after a 86pt season and a Dudley Hewitt Cup but falling short in the Royal Bank Cup tournament. He automatically signed with the Mississauga as soon as they drafted him wanting to gain more attention by NHL Scouts. His family still haven't heard from him but they do text and call him everyday. His GF has no idea where is but have given up hope he will come support the family. Their child was born, a healthy boy.

The minute he stepped of the plane, George was with culture shock, on and off the ice. His older sister, Melina Wagner 21, is there to look after him and receiving money from the their mom and dad every month. He posted up some great numbers with 14-1-3 record and a 2.83 GAA and a .906 SV%. He stayed in Sweden to receive some extra training during the NHL Draft. He will continue to play the U14 team this upcoming season.
