POR: Lonny Tomski (27-R) vs LA: Bobby McGregor (34-R)

For the third straight day, we send out a pitcher who will be making his first Major League start. Tomski will be making his Major League debut.

McGregor is their #1 starter. He went 10.1 innings on Monday to get a 3 to 1 win at San Francisco. He pitches to contact, but has superior control and gets batters to pound the ball into the dirt.
