  • Juan Leyva pitched a shutout on June 30th, giving up just 4 hits while striking out 10 and walking none in our 15-0 win over Montreal.
  • Bob Carithers was named Hickory League Pitcher of the Month for June. During the month, Bob went 4-0 with a 0.79 ERA in 45.2 innings, striking out 17 and walking 16 in that time frame. On the season he is now10-1 with a 2.03 ERA in 16 starts.
  • Leyva is 2nd in Pitcher WAR in The Big Leagues at 4.9.
  • Bob Figiel’s 4.11 ERA is the highest amongst the starting staff. Leyva is at 2.03, Carithers is at 2.08, Solis is at 2.17, and Amador is at 2.57.
