We are in Oakland to play the Oaks a 4 game series through the weekend. They beat the Angels in 2 games here on Monday and Tuesday. They are 10th in scoring in the PCL with 4.20 runs per game (Portland is up to #14 with 3.53). Their BA (.275) and OPS (.718) suggest that they should have scored more runs than they have. They are 8th in fewest runs allowed with 4.27 per game (Portland, after getting hammered by Hollywood's hitters in the last two games, has dropped into a tie for 2nd with 3.67). We are tied for the 2nd fewest HR allowed (9) with LA, but Oakland leads with only 7.

Javy Puente grounds a double play ball to 2nd, but Shannon Kuchta makes a bad throw to 2nd and everyone is safe and the bases are loaded with no outs...
