Game 1

The Maroons open the scoring. Wildor Larochelle gets credit on a deflection early on. Cooney Weiland makes it 2-0 after a dominant first period for Montreal. Frank Boucher gets Ottawa on the board with a power play marker but Montreal is still controlling the play. In the 3rd, the Maroons play a shut down style, limiting the Sens to 4 shots in the period. It works. Montreal wins the opener, 2-1.

Game 2

A nightmare start for the Sens. Tom Cook scores early, and it’s the periods only goal. 1-0 Montreal. The lead is extended in the 2nd with 2 more goals. All Montreal has to do is not collapse. They don’t. The teams exchange goals, and that’s it. 4-1 Montreal. The Maroons win the Cup!
