FWIW, I uninstalled 13 soon after I installed 14, so there's no memory issue (I have 4 gigs anyways).

Could you open a ticket in tech support? I'll need some more info from you and it will make it easier for us to find out what's going on if you can do this. As I already wrote to ballman, crash bugs are a top priority and we want to figure out what's going on here ASAP. Thanks for your help!
