Adjustment of the arbitration formula to account for oft injured players

One thing that myself and members of my online league have noticed over the years is that the arbitration formula fails to account for players who are often injured.

An example I have is a player on my time who is projected to make $8,400,000 in his 1st season of arbitration. He's a great player who could make runs at MVP every year. But in his first 3 seasons he has average 71 games played per season. 70 in year 1 before injury, 50 in year 2 and now this season 109 before going down with a 6 week injury.

I have seen worse where a player never played more than 50 games in a season because they were a backup but they put up good numbers when they did play so their arbitration #'s were over 10 million.
