A couple notes (mostly concerning failure):
The Mariners are now the only team that has not made the playoffs during this series.
The Mets now have 10 playoff appearances without a championship (most of any team). The Rangers have 8.
The Royals have now lost the ALCS in seven games to the Red Sox two years in a row. I am very sorry.
