Run the game as administrator and it will fix it.
But first:
- navigate to the game folder (...Program Files (x86)\Out of the Park Developments\Franchise Hockey Manager 2)
- Right click on the application file (called FHM2) and select PROPERTIES
- Click the COMPATABILITY tab and then check off the box that says "RUN THIS PROGRAM AS AN ADMINISTRATOR"
That will correct the issues for good.
