I plan on updating this every in-game month and re-evaluating/changing lines as needed each month, barring injuries.
I spent WAY too much time going over strategies (seriously, at least 3 hours) to see which would fit the team the most, and ended up settling with the following:
Ultraconservative offense - I went with this one because we basically have one scoring line, and power forwards/grinders throughout the rest of the lineup. Our goal is to play physical and keep the game close.
Neutral Zone Trap - With the acquisitions of offensive defenders, Montour and Vatanen, I figured this would be the best for transition and counterattacking.
Preseason Record: 2-5, both wins were by 1 goal, while the losses were blowouts.
Expectations: 12th in Western Conference - but among the most physical
Keys to winning:
Top line has to be among the league's best top lines
Penalty killing will have to be top 10
Andersen will need to have a career year in net.
