A third of the way through the season and everything seems to have fallen into place. #5 starter is a bit of a flux.

I'm a half game ahead of Texas and I'm not sure what they're doing. They traded team home run and RBI leader RF Larry Parrish (.253; 8 HR; 33 RBI) and a minor league catcher to the Astros for 2 minor league prospects who don't look to have much going for them. They have Nick Capra (.186; 0; 3) in the starting lineup now.

George Brett is on pace for 61 doubles, the most in the American League since Charlie Gehringer had 60 in 1936.

Balboni is on pace for 43 HR's, but only 107 RBI. He's hitting .325 since I dropped him to the 5th spot in the lineup.

Brett is hitting .404 with 3 HR's and 28 of his 37 RBI's with runners in scoring position.
