I don't touch anything, aside from setting the General Strategic Tendencies to Normal for Stealing Bases, and I input the year 1984 on the day before opening day. Works like a charm. Follow
these instructions and you'll never go wrong. You'll still have "hot" years and "cold" years and bang-on years due to statistical variance, but over time you'll get the results you're looking for.
