Look at our language. We have a lot of words and phrases in our vernacular which were commonly used 10, 20, 30, 50, etc years ago that will get you in big trouble now. Of course it can be racist to "be against" wearing one's pants at different levels.
"No son of mine is going to wear his pants like a ...." Is pretty obviously racist.
