Taranto leads MGL to All-Star game victory!

You've got to love it when the three top stars in the All-Star game are two current Brewers and one former Brewer.

Brett Taranto continues his magical season, shining in the mid-season classic to help lead the MGL to a rather easy win.
Brewer starter Steve Green gave up a run in the 1st inning, but Taranto evened the score in the bottom of the frame with an RBI double. He hit another big run scoring double in the 5-run fourth inning when the MGL took the lead for good.
Zacarias Martell collected 1 hit in his lone official at-bat, also walking twice and scoring a pair of runs. Josh Schaeffer went 1 for 2 with 2 runs scored and a walk.
Tim Shore pitched a scoreless 8th and Jason Gottula pitched a scoreless 9th to close things out for the MGL.
A pretty good day for Brewers all around.
