After the wild card victory, the Waffletown GM picked up a new addition for the upcoming season in Silver league (narrator note: while it's allowed by the PT rules, the Syrups will follow a self-imposed restriction of no new players added to the squad in the post season even if they are acquired from the AH.)
CF - Sliding Billy Hamilton (peak) - 92, for 13000 points.
While his defensive range isn't as good as Peanuts Lowrey, his bat is superior and his speed will hopefully be a difference maker at the top of the lineup. Austin McHenry will be sent to the reserves next season, and Lowrey will be moved to the bench where he will be able to backup every position except catcher.
