As the new season moves into the second half of June, management hopes the recent trends for their team continue and they stay on the winning track. After a back-and-forth month of April (13-13) and a similar month of May (14-13), the team is doing slightly better in June (10-7) to give them a 37-33 record for the year; good enough for 3rd place in the AC West division, 6 games back of the lead.

Overall the team is cranking away at the plate, with a league leading .283 batting average. On the defensive side, they are getting solid performances from their starting staff as well, as they lead the league in starter's ERA at 3.64; and also lead the league with a low of 28 errors on the young season.

The glaring hole that still needs to be filled, as management has already acknowledged, is the bullpen which ranks a lowly 13th in the conference in ERA. Management continues to scan the waiver wire to watch for potential upgrades (especially for the bullpen) but has not found any players within their budget.
