I'm importing a fictional league I created in OOTP17 and stopped playing right before 18 dropped. I basically skipped 18 and bought 19 some time last year but haven't moved on to 20 yet.

I decided to import my league and used the 18 demo to facilitate this. In the 18 demo I noted that the rating estimate was the same on my players. I imported to 19 and took a look and suddenly my players had a new assessment for the day in question that wasn't there before and many of my top tier players lost quite a few stars. Both my scout and the OSA star ratings are lower as well as many of the 20/80 ratings. I checked them in the editor against them in previous versions and they appear to be identical in terms of under the hood numbers.

Is this going to be something where their capability is different or is the game just calculating their potential and overall as lower due to something about their recent stats? I imported the file at a very early point in the season so they may have bad season stats below what they've done in the past.
