So my star closer just threw at an opposing batter, got into a fight and is now suspended for five games. The fans probably loved it, but I as a GM does not since OOTP forces me to keep him on my active roster (he is out of options).

I real life, I could assign him to the suspended list and clear up a spot on the active roster. I would like that opportunity for OOTP as well.

Thoughts?

(Yes I know I can edit a DTD-injury on him and place him on the IL, and then erase that history after he clears the injury, but the IL-stint would be longer than his suspension. Don't want to do that - plus it kills some "feel".)
