That error message usually indicates outdated/corrupt Visual C++ runtimes on your computer. You should be able to fix it by downloading and installing the most recent Visual C++ Redistributable Package from Microsoft, you can get it from the Microsoft Download Center. Let me know if that doesn't work, but I think it's fixed the problem 100% of the time so far.
