I don't know. I do know that Daniel Jones Wally Pipped Eli Manning today. And I do know that it's only one game. That has to be said.
But once that is said, what a difference. The Giants fell behind by 28-10 at the half - they've got a lot of work to do on their defense - but then they
took it to the Bucs in the second half.
Jones looked strong, mobile, and inspiring and the team rallied behind him. For once, FOR ONCE, there was a heartbreaking, last-minute loss and it was NOT the Giants suffering it.
I should have included in my preface that if Matt Gay makes that field-goal on the final play, I'm not here talking. But he did miss. He MISSED!
A new era has dawned. Yes, indeed, Jones has pipped Manning and it's Jones' team now.
