Silvam’s texture pack can be found in his how to model a stadium thread - it’s stickied at the top of the forum.
As far as the day/night process, I think that’s outlined above, but the short version is that you need to save a _day.png and _night.png files. Use the day in your model and paste the night in your /models/model_name/textures file and then test it in game.
