Although having a solid season, Dave is not All Star material this year. Maybe in 1976

His metrics have improved year-over-year this season, and he is on pace for another 30+ HR/100 RBI. He is still struggling in the field (11 errors at 1B so far). He also has contributed 14 steals so far.

He leads the Giants in HR, RBI and is tied in Runs (55) with Bonds and Mathews Jr.

He is also still in 2nd place in NL HR behind the Cubs Billy Williams again this year. But check out Dick Allen...he is having a Ruthian season so far:
