Calgary Flames - The team has toiled near the bottom of Bronze for much of its existence. Over the past 12 seasons, they have managed to make the playoffs only once and have never managed to make an appearance in the Gold League. A pitching staff that could barely pass muster in AAA is much of the reason for the team's recent troubles and will need to be a primary focus of any new GM. The team has had a handful of top picks in the draft in recent years, but the team still struggles with a lower than average prospect pool. Not to worry, the team does have some top notch talent in their prime on the major league roster. Players like
Brian Gaines and
Ray Allen should provide great cornerstone pieces to build around.
