Jake McCallister, SS
McCallister was a doubles machine and slick-fielding shortstop for the better part of a decade. He was still able to hold onto some value into his mid-to-late 30s, even putting up a 3 WAR season at age 37. He finished second all-time for shortstops in doubles, just between Lester Taylor and Matthew Jiles. His overall value was just around Dodger great Jiles as well.

Walton Turner, LHP
Turner begins a group of four very strange pitching Hall of Fame cases. Turner had an incredible peak with seven seasons of 4+ WAR, but almost nothing else in his career. His JAWS score is acceptable for a pitcher but his overall WAR total does not even come close.
Initial Acquisition: Number 205 overall pick by the Giants out of Steele Canyon
MLB Awards: Tomas Reed MVP Awards - 0, J.P. Avila Awards - 1, Timo Fernandez Rookie of the Year Award - 0, Youssef Raadouni Gold Glove Awards - 0, All-Star Appearances - 5, World Series Championships - 0, Playoff MVPs - 0
Career Stats: 2249.2 IP, 849 BB, 1674 K, 3.68 FIP, 88 FIP-, 43.2 WAR, 55.9 JAWS
Rick Nelson, LHP
Nelson has solid JAWS and WAR numbers, but doesn't have anything that sticks out as a Hall of Fame pitcher. He just pitched a lot of games for 17 years and only finished in the top-3 J.P. Avila voting once. He started 30+ games 13 times, maxing out at 37 games started three times.
Initial Acquisition: Number 15 overall pick by the Diamondbacks out of Michigan
MLB Awards: Tomas Reed MVP Awards - 0, J.P. Avila Awards - 0, Timo Fernandez Rookie of the Year Award - 0, Youssef Raadouni Gold Glove Awards - 0, All-Star Appearances - 3, World Series Championships - 1, Playoff MVPs - 0
Career Stats: 3836 IP, 1016 BB, 1889 K, 3.98 FIP, 95 FIP-, 59.5 WAR, 53.2 JAWS
Tommy Butler, RHP
Butler is in a somewhat similar boat to Turner, but somehow different. His JAWS numbers are fine for the Hall, but total WAR is much too low. He does seem to actually have a better case than Turner, even though his numbers are worse. He had consistent 4-5 WAR seasons over 8 years but didn't provide enough value otherwise.
Initial Acquisition: Number 10 overall pick by the Orioles out of Buford

Career Stats: 2911.2 IP, 1140 BB, 1946 K, 3.99 FIP, 95 FIP-, 44.5 WAR, 50.3 JAWS
Solomon Davis, LHP
Despite having some of the worst value stats of the group, Davis almost has the best Hall of Fame case. He did win the J.P. Avila award and had six seasons of over 5 WAR, but again didn't provide much value otherwise.
Initial Acquisition: Number 15 overall pick by the White Sox out of Wichita State

Career Stats: 2765.1 IP, 749 BB, 1873 K, 3.58 FIP, 85 FIP-, 56.2 WAR, 47.3 JAWS
Winston Cruz, RH Reliever
Cruz almost seemed to be a lock as the next Hall of Fame reliever behind Tim Beckman, but somehow decided to retire at age 34. He won Beckman's award four times and was a yearly all-star. He actually finished in the top three of the J.P. Avila Award twice. But again, not enough total value there to warrant induction as a reliever.
