Trade #10:
SP Steve Schroeder (33-R) to Dallas for 2B Doug Dietz (29-L).
Schroeder is a slacker that has never pitched in the Majors. 'Nuff said. Dietz is a career .260 hitter in 7 seasons in the Majors. He's selfish, but not a slacker.
Trade #11:
RF Cal McClure (26-R) to Pittsburgh for LF Don Neumann (30-S).
McClure hit .311 at Vancouver (A), but is a slacker. Neumann is a career .274 hitter in 7 seasons for Denver.
And that will do it for trades this off season. We have more slackers on the roster, but none that anyone will give us anything for. So they will either be cut or kept around for one more season. We have quite a few minor league offers out for free agents that were booted off rosters after the Draft.
