October was underwhelming as the Habs finished with a 7-5-1 record which was only good enough for 9th in the East. While things started well with two wins to start the season, a 3 game road trip to Western Canada put them under .500 and things were a roller-coaster after that. An injury to Gallagher showed the lack of depth on the right wing which will need to be addressed. Price was not as solid as needed as he posted a 3.00 goals against and a mediocre .904 save percentage.
October 7th:
Three goals in one trade although it ended up costing me. I got rid of some baggage, added some propects, and one is a local boy.
To Philadelphia:
Peter Budaj, Francis Bouillon, and 2016 2nd round pick
To Montreal:
Samuel Morin and Petr Straka
Must be careful as trades are beginning to deplete my draft picks.

October 26th:
Two contract renewals completed! PK Subban signs for 3 more seasons at $4,730,00 per season. Greg Pateryn also signed for 3 more years at $730,000. In other news Andrei Markov announced he will be testing free agency. Look for his name to come up around the deadline.
