I am considering purchasing OOTP 19. I am not interested in GM roles, trades etc. I have a few questions

1. Can you just simulate games prior seasons without being a manager?
2. If you elect to simulate a season and manage one team do you have to play each game as the manager (assume 162 game season) or can you have the computer simulate some of the games you select and manage other games ?
