Top of the First:

Gus McCollum grounds out to 2nd. Bud Lisk lines a hit to left. Jose Naranjo lines out hard to right. Steve Bone lines out to left!

Don Neumann leads off with a walk. Shannon Kuchta lines a hit to right center and Neumann beats the throw to 3rd. Franklin Felix grounds a hit to left and Neumann scores! 2 to 0, Beavers! Craig Petitto grounds into a 3-6-3 double play.... Catcher is a weak spot, but the only ones that do not have a low work ethic and are not as slow as molasses and can hit a little will take too much to trade for... It does not look like there is going to be a good draft candidate this year either.... P Steve Muir strikes out.

PH Jim Reyes (29-L) grounds out to short. 2 outs. PH Rick Gorges (25-R), a rookie hitting .412 with 3 HR and a 1.093 OPS in 51 AB, swings at a 3-2 pitch and grounds one to short, but Scott Plourde, who is only in the game for his glove, boots it... Seems like we have made a ton of errors in the 9th inning of late... Gus McCollum draws a walk and they are loaded with 2 outs... Bud Lisk grounds one down to 1st and Glenn Snowden fields it and steps on the bag and THIS Ball Game Belongs to the Beavers!
