With Opening Day upon us, the Brewers got down to the requisite 25 man roster by sending young reliever Zach Barr down to AAA, keeping Brad Schmidt as the 25th man on the active roster and the 7th man in the bullpen.
The pre-season predictions have been published and it does not appear that the experts are very high on the Brewers youth movement as they are predicted to finish tied for 8th place.
Reigning champions, Jacksonville, are expected to run away with the Shoeless Joe League while L.A. is expected to narrowly hold off challengers Portland and Phoenix in the Moonlight Graham League.
