In a big night of boxing from England, we had 3 world title fights with boxers from both the UK & the US.

Up 1st, Anthony Dirrell made the 1st defense of his WBC SMW belt with a 9th round TKO of Rocky Fielding.

Rocky looked like the movie version of his name with a red & almost swollen shut right eye. AD won the PL battle 206 (30%) to 148 (30%).

AD was up on the cards 78-74 & 77-75 twice at the end and moves to 15-1.

Errol Spence won the vacant IBF WW title with a 6 UD over the rugged Brit - Peter Waterman. Spence dropped Peter in the 3rd for a count of 9 after a vicious combo.

An accidental butt lead to a cut on Peter & Spence was up 57-56 & 58-55 twice at the end - Spence also had a 200 to 99 lead in PL.

Spence moves to 14-1-1 (12 KO's) - his lone loss earlier this year due to a cut. Peter is now 8-1 (8 KO's).

And in a great fight, Shawn Porter won the vacant WBC WW title with a 15MD over Amir Khan.

Shawn dropped Khan twice in the fight - both right crosses & Khan sent Porter the the canvas once in the 13th with a combo.

The cards read 143-140, 142-141 & 141-141 @ the end.

Khan won the PL battle - 318 to 251.

Porter is now 12-1 (11 KOs) - his lone loss to Thomas Damgaard due to a cut in his 1st shot at a world title.

Khan is now 8-1 (8 KO's) @ 147.
