I forgot to post the Players of the Week.

Tycobbian Names #1 Player
Cape Coral second baseman Roberto Betancourt won the TBU Player of the Week Award. He racked up 10 hits in 25 at-bats with 5 home runs and 11 RBIs for the week.

Betancourt set an IPA record for 3 homers and 8 RBIs in a game in the 13-7 thrashing of Ozarka.

So far this season he is hitting .313.

Ruthlandian Union Announces Week's Top Player
Belair Beach's catcher Denny Everhart hit everything in sight and was voted the RBU Player of the Week. he batted .522 for the week (12-23) with 4 home runs, 10 RBIs and 6 runs scored.

Everhart is batting .362 this season.

Week's #1 Player Honored by TBU
Gregg Vincent, Fairfax's slugging first sacker, captured the TBU Player of the Week Award with a .364 batting average (12-33). His stats for the week included 4 roundtrippers, 9 RBIs and 8 runs scored.

Thus far this year Vincent has hit at a .290 clip with 20 hits, 9 homers and 22 RBIs.

Red-hot Rampage Reaps RBU Reward
The RBU Player of the Week honors went to Elnora's hard-hitting second baseman, Gil Foster. He compiled a .500 batting average (13-26) with 2 homers, 5 RBIs and scored 9 times.

Overall in 2001, Foster has hit .491 with 4 home runs and 13 RBIs. He has played in 16 games and scored 14 runs.
