The St. Louis River Walkers have announced a pair of roster moves.
First baseman Rhys Hoskins has been placed on the 10-day disabled list after he suffered a hyperextended ankle in a 10-2 loss to Quad City on May 24.
Called up from AAA Memphis will be 1B/3B Romy Gonzalez.
The 32-year-old Hoskins has batted .218 with eight homers and 20 RBIs in 38 games for the River Walkers in 2019.
Gonzalez, 28, has batted .318 with five homers and 21 RBIs in 40 games for AAA Memphis.
Also, right-handed starting pitcher Jimmy Lambert has been sent to AAA Memphis following the 10-2 loss to Quad City.
Lambert, 30, has gone 2-5 with a 7.71 ERA in eight starts for St. Louis this season.
Coming up from AAA will be Derek Gordon.
The 33-year-old Gordon is 2-1 at Memphis this season with a 2.35 ERA. He has worked in six games and made three starts this season.
