Walkers news: Pair of roster moves made
The St. Louis River Walkers have made a pair of roster moves.
Infielder Johan Camargo has come off the 10-day disabled list after missing time with back spasms.
His return will send 1B/3B JT Schwartz back to AAA Memphis.
Before his injury, Camargo had batted .308 in five games with the Walkers with a homer and pair of RBIs.
Schwartz also had been impressive in his brief time in the majors, hitting .556 in three games with a homer and an RBI.
Also, St. Louis has sent outfielder Larry Ernesto to AAA Memphis and callled up outfielder Alan Dondero from the Redbirds.
The 24-year-old Ernesto has struggled in the major this season, batting .120 in 12 games with no homers or RBIs.
Dondero has not played well either at Memphis -- sitting at .159 with nine RBIs in 19 games -- but is a better defender.
