Nicky Delmonico broke a scoreless tie in the top of the ninth inning with a two-run home run off reliever Jandel Gustave to help give St. Louis a 2-0 victory over Des Moines at LaBatt Park.
Both starters shined on the mound.
River Walkers starter Kyle Hendricks went seven shutout innings, allowing three hits with three strikeouts and no walks.
Harvesters starter Dallas Keuchel didn't allow a run over 6.2 innings. He surrendered five hits while striking out four and walking one.
Michael Conforto drew a walk to leadoff the ninth for the Walkers. Gustave struck out Bo Bichette.
But Delmonico hit the third pitch he saw 351 feet over the left-field wall for the first runs of the game.
Bobby Poyner earned his second win of the season with a scoreless eighth inning.
Tommy Kahnle did the same in the ninth for his 12th save.
