Walkers news: June 21 -- Rockford 5, St. Louis 3

Rockford's Billy McKinney hit a two-run home run off St. Louis' Andrew Miller with two outs in the top of the ninth inning to give the Lightning a 5-3 win in a battle of National League Division leaders at Busch Stadium.
Reliever Brad Boxberger retired the first two Rockford hitters in the top of the ninth before giving way to Miller with a trio of left-handed hitters scheduled to come to the plate.

Adam Eaton greeted Miller with a single. McKinney then hit the fourth pitch he saw from Miller over the left-field fence to give his team the lead.
Charlie Blackmon hit a two-run homer and Nolan Arenado a solo shot off St. Louis starting pitcher Zack Godley in the first inning to put the Lightning up 3-0.
St. Louis got back into it with a three-run top of the fifth, getting it started by loading the bases against Rockford starting pitcher Cole Hamels.
Andrew Benintendi drove in the first run with a bases-loaded sacrifice fly off reliever Brian Clark.Michael Conforto drove in the other two with a single.
Three relivers combined to shutout the Walkers the rest of the way -- each of them tossing a scoreless inning -- with David Robertson (4-0) earning the win with a scoreless eighth.
