Well, May was a disaster, thanks to the 11-game losing streak. But we played slightly above .500 for the rest of the month to work our way back to 26-29.
Trout has been pretty sub-par for the first 2 months. He's hitting .224/.341/.344, with only 4 homers.
We're 5 1/2 games back in the division, in 4th place. The LA Earthquakes (27-28) are yet to really get shaking while the Nashville Bats and St. Louis Stars (both 30-22) are due to go sliding.
The Durham Devil Dogs, in last place in our div at 20-33, are an odd team. In 2041 they went 96-66 at perfect level but have gotten worse each season since then, going 77-85 last season. They've got a decent roster, with 6 perfects (though 5 of them are live perfects) in their top 25, 4 of those hitters, but for whatever reason they struggle to score runs. I hope they keep struggling for the rest of this season too, and work it out next week!
