The PCL West has started the season 6-0 against the PCL East, so we are in a 6 way tie for first and last place!

Denver Bears (0-1 .000 tied for 1st (last) place the PCL East) at
Portland Beavers (1-0 1.000 tied for 1st (last) place in the PCL West)

DEN: Danny Adame (31-R 14-11 3.26 last year) vs. POR: Terry Melton (27-R 11-5 2.25 last year) All-Star

We were 2-0 against Adame last season, but he went 8 innings both times and pitched well. He had an 0.90 ERA this Spring, but missed 2 weeks with a shoulder issue.

Melton was not good after coming back from the DL with back issues last year, but was sharp this Spring: 2.12 ERA 17 IP 12 H 0 HR 3 BB 10 SO. The chances are very slim that he will make it through this season without missing time to back troubles.
