The St. Louis River Walkers have activated right-handed relief pitcher Phil Maton from the injured list and placed righty Bill Warson on waivers with the intention of sending him to AAA Memphis.
Maton, 30, has been out since May 3 with a strained oblique.
Prior to the injury. Maton had pitched in 11 games posting a record of 0-1 with a 3.00 ERA. He had pitched a total of nine innings, striking out eight and boasting a WHIP of 0.67.
Warson, 26, has pitched in 10 games for the Walkers, with a record of 0-2 and 3.95 ERA. He has worked 13.2 innings, striking out 12 and owns a WHIP of 1.39.
