Pretty new to this game, but yeah, inability to customize is a pretty big negative. Here are things I'd like to be able to do:
- Set up an alternate world that evolves differently but uses real players;
- Expand from the present day and realign the divisions and conferences in a way that makes more sense;
- Set up a mostly historical world but with some tweaks and changes.
This seems particularly important given how much the actual NHL has tinkered with its own structure. This isn't like MLB where one could say "hey, they've done it X way for decades so don't mess with it."
