One of the reasons we all love OOTP is it lets us do things that will never happen in real life - things like making the playoffs as the Mariners or spending more than $20 million a year on player as the Rays, or creating a stable franchise in Miami. It turns out Sketchup has similar powers,
because unlike the mayor of Richmond, I have managed to create a ballpark in the Shockoe Bottom neighborhood of Richmond.
The park is based off of a couple of concepts created when they first started pushing for the field in Richmond, including the strange cut out in the middle of the outfield. The field is relatively hitter friendly, especially for lefties, but the big wall in left field will do long term damage to your righty power hitters.
