Weird coincidence - until I read Jim's update a couple of months ago, I didn't know he used to do reviews for CGW - I subscribed and read for years, if not decades, but I guess I never looked very close at the reviewers names. Fat forward to this week, and having forgotten about this again, I happened to see one of my old stacks of CGW in a cabinet and just wanted to look through one for the nostalgia, the one on top was from 1994, so I grabbed that one. In the letters to the editor section, an executive from strat-o-matic was complaining about a previous review, and it turned out it was Jim - his multiple column response detailing exactly why their stats model was bad was amazing - I still don't know if I understand it completely!
Anyway, just thought it was funny and wanted to share.
