Suns Get Road Win, 5-2
The Jeter Bros. came correct after the long plane ride in Montreal today, going a combined 3-8 with a run scored. Not bad for a couple of old men. Pepper continued to suck going 0-4 with 3 K’s… the kid swings at everything. Catcher Yoshi Nakamura smashed for Phoenix going 2-3 with a 3 run dinger. Miller pitched well giving us 8-innings of 8 hit, 2 run ball. He rung up 6 batters and didn’t give up any free bags today – his command was a welcome surprise. Dig.

4/13/74 (11 of 162): Phoenix (Isaiah Zuno) @ Montreal (Norm Rodriguez)
Another day, another win for Phoenix – 6-3 over Montreal.
Big day for your boy Donny Jeter as he got his 2000th hit in 1676 games… Derek hit 2K first. Donny was 1-4 with hit #2K and 3 K’s – that’s kind of funny. Pepper, oh boy… 0-4 with 3 more K’s today. Where oh where has Pepper’s stroke gone?

4/14/74 (12 of 162): Phoenix (Oswaldo Flores) @ Montreal (Ferdinand Loving)
All good things must come to an end, Montreal wins 3-2
Pepper goes 0-2, but reaches base, finally, after taking a pitch to his bicep… shook it off like a champ and ended up scoring in the inning. Old Man Derek took a rest day… Donny went 0-4 – he could’ve used a day off.

4/15/74 (13 of 162): Phoenix (Cleveland Cornejo) @ Montreal (Dejuan Burns)
Add another tick in the W column, PHX wins 5-3
Yoshi is clutch again – put a difference-making 2-run double on the board to seal the deal. Old Man Donny took a well-deserved rest while Derek went 1-4 with a run, a walk and a strikeout. PEPPER is back baby – he went 2-3 with an RBI and a walk.
