I had one player in my fictional league who was a pitcher in his first season (Number one starter with around a .500 record and 4.something ERA on a bad team) who had some good speed and hitting stats, so I converted him to center field as an experiment. He led the league in steals in his first season as a full-time hitter. He doesn't pitch anymore, though, but he probably would if he was on my team.
