Funny how Jeffries seems to get taller with the passing of time. In December of 1903 he was examined by Dr. D.A. Sargent of Harvard University, and among other things, it was noted he stood just a hair over 6 feet tall. Compare his height to that of Bob Fitzsimmons in that famous photo of the two men standing shoulder to shoulder. They are almost indentical in height and Bob was just under six foot.
